I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Religion at Syracuse University.
I work in the philosophy of religion and psychology of religion, with a particular interest in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
My current work asks questions like: What do we want from psychology that we might have also wanted from religion? Why do psychologists found so many more religions than physicists do? And why do we so frequently reach for the language of attachment and trauma?
I also write poems and essays.
